Yesterday we were in Saint Nazaire to participate in the inauguration of Lhyfe‘s first offshore renewable hydrogen platform, a 1MW floating electrolyzer which will be connected to France’s first floating wind turbine, Ideol. With the geopolitical situation and the policy push, demand for green hydrogen in Europe is growing extremely rapidly, and Lhyfe just announced that they have doubled their pipeline since the IPO in May.

At the same time, President Emmanuel Macron was also in Saint Nazaire, inaugurating France’s first offshore wind field. France is late to offshore wind, but it is great to see progress!

Thank you Matthieu Guesné and Maria Pardo Saleme for inviting us to the event.
